The building of the old townhouse in medieval Bergen

I build the old Bergen Town hall and wine cellar in Minecraft survival as historically accurate as possible.

The old town hall in Bergen, called “Stevnestova” during the middle ages, was located at “Bryggen” (the harbour) in Bergen.

Nearby, or in the same building, was the towns only wine cellar, which purpose was both a storage and a serving place.

The town hall was most likely built as a two storey stone wall building around year 1300 a.d. Only the ruins are left today, kept underneath the parking garage in Rosenkrantzgaten.

I’ve tried to find as much historical facts as I can to build this building as accurate as possible. Especially Arkikon’s work has been really usefull.
